What are the organs in the body

Human body parts

Since ancient times, man began to think and research to find out the secrets of his body and its components , and the English scientist Robert Hooke was the first to establish the basic building block of the human body and called it (the cell). There are many types of cells in the human body, such as blood, skin, bone, and others. As for the group of cells of the same type joined together called tissue, and the group of tissues of different types unite together and form an organ, such as the stomach , and the group of organs together form the system, such as the digestive system, and finally the organism consists of a group of systems that work together to keep the body alive and carry out all its functions .

Organs are a mixture of the grouping of cells with vital functions and special tasks that produce a group of organs that are divided into internal and external organs, and simply, the external organs are those that are located outside the human body and can be seen, while the internal organs inside the body cannot be seen. The number of the external and internal organs together is 78, and examples of the external organs are the mouth, nose, eye, skin and others, while the internal organs are like the heart, liver and kidneys.

Ranking of members by mass

Members have different and varied forms and functions, some of which are very large and others are small, and the order of these members is descending as follows:

  • The skin : It is the largest organ in the human body in size and weight. It constitutes 15% of a person’s weight and extends over an area of 2 square meters. If the blood vessels in the skin were tied together, it would be more than 11 miles (17.7 km) long.
  •  Liver : the normal weight of the liver ranges from 1.2 kg to 1.5 kg, and the size of the male is greater than that of the female. The length of the liver in males is 10.5 cm, and in females 7 cm.
  •  The brain : works to control the entire body, and fats make up 60% of its mass of 1.4 kg, and it is the organ that has the least discovery of its secrets among all members of the body.
  • Lungs : It is one of the main and very important organs in the human body, despite its large size, but its weight is low, so it is the only organ that is able to float on the water, and the lung can store an entire liter of air inside it.
  • Heart : The blood-pumping organ in the human body, and the fifth of the organs in size, measuring 12 cm in length, 8 cm in width, and 6 cm in thickness.
  • Pancreas : It is approximately the size of the brain, but it is less massive. The pancreas remained an organ of unknown function until the nineteenth century, and they believed it to be a shock absorbing organ just because it was a rubber body.
  • Kidneys : They are the size of a computer mouse, but they are one of the basic organs in the human body, just as a person can live with 75% of only one kidney. Spleen : It is considered as one of the parts of the immune system in the human body.

Body systems and components

Each organ in the human body consists of different organs of varying importance, and the organs are linked together in a specific way to form the device. All systems of the body are important without exception, and among these systems: the respiratory system , the digestive system, the reproductive system, the urinary system, the bone system, the excretory system, and the nervous system. The number of these devices in the human body reaches 12, and these devices do not work separately, but are also linked together to achieve their functions to the fullest. All of these different organs are made up of organs, and they are:

Members of the circulatory system

The circulatory system or the circulatory system and its main nerve are the heart and the blood.

Respiratory organs

The first source of air to enter the body is the nose, which is the first organ of the respiratory system , and the most prominent respiratory organs are the lungs, larynx, and bronchi. This device is closely related to the circulatory system to transport oxygen into the blood, and to excrete and dispose of carbon dioxide.

Members of the urinary system

The urinary system consists of a very important group of organs that help eliminate liquid waste products from the body. The most important organ of the urinary system is the kidney, and there are two kidneys that perform the function of purifying blood and expelling toxins from the body.

Members of the reproductive system

It is the device that ensures the preservation of the human species through sexual reproduction , and in the male it consists of the testicles and the penis and what these organs contain of the reasons for reproduction, such as the seminal vesicles, prostate glands and Cuper, while in the female it consists of the vagina, ovaries and uterus, which is the place where the fetus is formed and stabilizes until the time comes His date of birth.

Organs of the nervous system

The nervous system that transmits emotions and emotions, and it is the center of control and control in the body, and one of the most important parts of the body is found in this system, represented by the brain, which consists of the cerebrum, the cerebral cortex, the cerebellum, the hypothalamus, and the medulla oblongata, and that system does not work without the neurotransmitters that transmit information to it The brain works in the form of a central processing unit that receives information and gives a specific response or response.
