In 2015, the Chinese government modified its financial policy, which contributed to allowing the yuan to face economic fluctuations, especially in the foreign exchange market, and the Chinese central bank, or as it is known as the (People's Bank of China), is the bank responsible for issuing the yuan currency, Tracking its exchange rate compared to other foreign currencies, and covering financial needs through the use of bonds that depend on foreign currency reserves; To cover any deficit that may face the yuan exchange later, interest rates on currencies have also been raised in order to counter the decline in the growth of the Chinese economy, which is directly linked to the yuan currency. 




History of China

In about 4000 BC, the Chinese people had used the bronze metal, and then they used iron in the manufacture of many tools before they discovered pottery making , and with the passage of time, agriculture became one of the most important natural resources that contributed to supporting the Chinese economy, and also China was keen to strengthen Its trade relations with states; As its trade reached the Mediterranean coast, China also contributed to supporting many types of industries, especially spinning and weaving, which moved to many countries. 

In the nineteenth and twentieth centuries AD, China witnessed many changes, both in the political and economic fields, which also affected the social life there. As at the beginning of the nineteenth century, the Chinese economy continued to witness a remarkable development, until the Chinese government relied on the application of a closed economy policy, which led to the cessation of foreign trade exchange between China and other countries, and as a result a decline in the Chinese economy. 

In 1840 AD, the British forces attacked the Chinese lands, and a war broke out between China and Britain, which was known as the (Opium War), which led to the occupation of Hong Kong, and colonial influence expanded in China in order to interfere in its internal affairs and make the Chinese government sign treaties with foreign countries. In a disproportionate way to consolidate control over the Chinese economy, this led to the outbreak of a popular revolution, and the imperial rule of China ended in 1911. 

In 1912 AD, the establishment of the republic was officially announced in China , and this resulted in the emergence of a development in political life; Many parties were established that contributed to influencing public life in China, and strategic plans were relied upon to develop the sectors of agriculture and industry, which led to the achievement of many important achievements in the mid-twentieth century AD, specifically in the period between 1953-1957 CE. It led to the classification of China as one of the most powerful economic countries in the world.




Geographical features

The total geographical area of China is 9,572,678 km²; Therefore, China ranks as the third largest country in the world, after Russia and Canada . Its geographical features vary due to the tremendous extension of its lands from the north polar side to the south equatorial side, passing through the eastern, flat and western regions that contain desert lands. The geographical regions in China are divided into eight regions, namely: 


  • Tibetan Heights : They are highlands located in the southwest of China, and in its southern part are the Himalayas , while on the west side it is surrounded by the Pamirs, and to the north are the Kunlun Mountains.

  •  Zinjiabach (Mongolia) : it is the highlands that are found in the desert areas in China. Mineral salts are abundant in their land, and the population spread is small. 

  • The heights of the Mongolian borders : they are heights that contain a group of land areas, which are characterized by arable soil. 

  • Eastern Highlands : They are the highlands that are found in both the Shandong Peninsula and Eastern Manchuria, and contain large quantities of coal, and are located near the Sino-Russian border. 

  • The Eastern Lowlands : They are the highlands that lie between the eastern highlands and the borders of Mongolia , and contain a group of Chinese plains lands. One of the most important agricultural products on these lands is wheat. 

  • Central Highlands : It is an area that contains mountains, located between the Tibetan highlands and the eastern lands, and this region is characterized by moisture that helps in the cultivation of rice, which is the main crop of China. 

  • Sichuan Basin : An area distinguished by its geographical diversity between mountains and valleys, and it is considered one of the best places for agriculture in China. Because of the right climate. 

  • The Southern Highlands : It is a region that consists of a group of regions, namely Hainan Island and the Southern Mountains, but it does not contain flat areas.
