The birth and upbringing of Mahatma Gandi

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, better known by the title Mahatma, which means: a person with a great soul, or a saint, was born on the second day of October of 1869 AD in India, specifically in the city of Porbandar located in the province of Gujarat,  where It is located between the city of Sindh and the city of Bombay , and it is indicated here that the language of this region, and some of the customs prevailing among its people, differ from other regions in India. Looking at Gandhi’s upbringing, we find that he grew up in a family with a long history of political work. Whereas, his grandfather assumed the premiership in Burbandar, in addition to that his father was a minister in the government, and his family was from very good and high-moral families, and he was raised in a family that bore these good qualitiesAll of them played a major role in reaching the position he reached, and his mother in particular was one of the main reasons for his emergence with this measure of morals and greatness; As everyone who knew her, knew her biography, and her qualities, is fully aware that he acquired from her all these good qualities, and that his grandfather also (Uta Gandhi) was a man of high morals and characteristics, despite his many political preoccupations.

Gandhi spent a normal, very normal childhood in his youth, and when he was thirteen years old he got married; Given that Indian customs stipulate that, and the outcome of this marriage was four children, however, Gandhi - as was mentioned - was not satisfied with his marriage; Because of his young age, bearing in mind that he wrote in his biography that he was forced by his family into this marriage at this young age, he, his brother, and his cousin, and on the same day.

It was his first experience, and he was not lucky enough to try to repeat this experience, in addition to how he worked in this profession was not satisfactory to him. Where he chose to practice it sincerely, avoiding every dimension of trying to win cases with tricks. It is worth noting that Gandhi then traveled to the regions of South Africa. To provide assistance to senior foreign lawyers, not to practice it, and through this journey, he knew the cause for which his life should be spent, and set his foot on the beginning of the road, where he ended up presiding over India in its entirety, then drafted the country's constitution in 1908 AD, which led to Indian Independence .

It is important to note that Gandhi was campaigning; For the peaceful resistance in India, where some Indians followed him in these campaigns; Because of their strong belief in him, and his beliefs calling for the renunciation and avoidance of violence, in addition to the fact that some of the workers who lived in the south, including: Chinese , Indonesians, Indians, Pagans, and Zawgis who did not believe in the principles of their leaders, were all following Gandhi; This is because they know the extent of his sincerity and reliability, and it is worth remembering that Gandhi used to leave all works that would lead to material profit, where he gave his money; In order to help the needy and the oppressed, he used to live with them and eat their food, and he gave up all aspects of civilization, so everyone followed him without the slightest suspicion of them.
