The procession route starts from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, passing through Simon Bolivar Square and the Nile Corniche in the Sayeda Zeinab neighborhood and ancient Egypt, reaching the Museum of Civilizations, by means of specially designed carriages to transport the mummies of the Pharaohs in a majestic procession from the place of its current display in the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the place of its permanent display in the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization In Fustat, it is expected that the streets of the capital and the governorates will be empty on this day of pedestrians and cars, as citizens will sit in front of television screens to watch this unique event and the dazzling party that all state agencies are working to properly bring out in the name of Egypt and the greatness of the ancestors.



The Ministry of the Interior announced that within the framework of the celebration of the global event on the transfer of royal mummies from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat, passing through the Nile Corniche Street, it has been decided to close a number of traffic axes in front of all types of vehicles and individuals the day after tomorrow, Saturday, corresponding to April 3 of this hour. 6 pm until 8:30 pm, as follows: -

 

Closing all entry and exit points to Tahrir Square and the outlets leading to it from the 6th of October Bridge and the 15th of May Bridge, as well as closing the views of the 6th October Bridge coming to Nile Street and closing the El Galaa Bridge in the direction coming from Giza.


The closure of the Corniche and the side streets leading to it, starting from the Qasr El Nil Bridge to the celebration area, as well as the closure of the University Bridge and Abbas Bridge for the coming from Giza, and the (Egypt - Helwan) road in the direction of Athr al-Nabi Square, as well as the closure of the houses of the El Moneeb Bridge and the Autostrad Road that leads to Athr Square the Prophet.



Sadat Metro Station was closed from 12:00 until 9:00 pm.
 

 Dr. Khaled Al-Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, said, in previous statements, that the royal mummies procession will be all prestige and civilization, adding that more than 60 countries in the world will transmit the Mummies Parade event next Saturday, and more than 400 channels around the world will carry a celebration as if they are current kings in memory of For their history, pointing out that the pharaohs would be fired as if they were kings.
